KWRL: SUB-BRANDING IDENTITY

Adobe InDesign

In collaboration with Knoll, this project was aimed to create a sub-branding system for the Knoll Workplace Research Library while focusing on their brand values. Sticking to their history and respecting their values, explorations were made while creating a new and unique visual identity.

As Knoll is seen as a “constellation of design-driven brands and people, I wanted to create a system that supports this particular idea. With that in mind, I designed the sub-logo to be the form of a constellation while still maintaining an abstract form of a chair. Segments of each letterform incorporate onto the next letterform as it follows the direction of the arrow to emphasize the idea that each milestone of ideas have been carried on to the next, but with further elaboration and experimentation.
